Learning about themselves as they go this season, the St. Regis Lady Tigers won two tough five-set matches on the road last week, topping Noxon in Noxon Sept. 10 and defeating Alberton in Alberton Sept. 11.

“The girls played a ton of volleyball this week,” St. Regis coach Kianna Barnett said, “and definitely learned how to dig deep and not give up.”

Hoping to continue their upward trajectory this week, the Tigers play at Charlo Thursday and host Two Eagle River in St. Regis Saturday.

Against Noxon, Khila Teeters and Jacey Pruitt hit five kills apiece, Austyn Dalka bumped up 19 digs and served up five aces, and Daisy Sansom added five aces and nine set assists.

In the win over Alberton, Teeters led the way with nine kills, 15 digs and six service aces and Sansom passed out nine set assists.
