Michael Douglas Boehm, 57

Michael Douglas Boehm, 57, also nicknamed “Bam Bam” and “Little Mike," passed away on Sept. 2, 2026, in Kalispell. He was born January 21st, 1969, in Helena to Ralph and Tonie Boehm.

Mike was raised in Helena and attended Helena High School. In 1992 he met the love of his life, Kelly Elrod. Mike and Kelly moved to Lakeside in 2002 after visiting and falling in love with the Flathead Valley. Mike and Kelly were officially married on their Lakeside property in 2003.

Mike had many jobs and hobbies including landscaping, construction, fixing cars, bikes and anything electronic. He loved riding motorcycles, four-wheeler, camping, bonfires, taekwondo, football, boating, playing with his grandchildren and the Fourth of July. He was the life of any party, especially his grandchildren’s birthday parties. He loved people with his whole heart and had so many friends from all over Montana. He was adored by his grandchildren and everyone that met him. He had an energy in which he lived life on the edge and to the absolute fullest, He was fearless. We treasure the memories we shared with him. His absence leaves a void in all our hearts.

Mike is survived by his mother Tonie Boehm; wife Kelly Boehm, daughter Tenaya Reiner (Mike), son Cody Boehm, daughter Markie Mackin (Jordan); twin brother Mark Boehm (Heidi); sister Ardis Larsen (Jeff); sister Marcie Shelton. He is also survived by grandchildren, Payton Reiner, Tatum Reiner, Rex Reiner, Madisyn Mackin, Maggie Mackin and his first great grandchild who is on the way; nieces and nephews, Levi and Nora Boehm, Sean Thatcher, Megan Larsen and Hannah Boehm; many aunts and uncles, cousins and so many more from the King and Boehm side of his family that he loved dearly.

Mike was preceded in death by his father Ralph Boehm, Sr.; brother Junior Boehm; and brother “Big Mike” Boehm from a different mother.

A private memorial service for friends and family will be held at 1 p.m. on Sept. 19 at the Kalispell Hilton Garden Inn.
