COEUR d’ALENE — Camryn Farrar, a freshman from Coeur d’Alene High, had six kills, three digs and three assists for North Idaho College in a 25-15, 25-17, 25-22 win over Spokane Colleges at Christianson Gymnasium on Tuesday.
Sophomore Cynthia Reyes Valencia, freshman Zayvien Fayad, freshman Brynlie Cornia and freshman Zoe Galbreath had four kills each for NIC (13-4), which has won eight straight.
Galbreath also had 10 assists for the Cardinals.
Sophomore Mia Asbury, the former St. Maries High star, had seven assists and three aces and freshman Amarijana Oliveri of Timberlake High had four kills and two assists for Spokane (4-9).
NIC opens Scenic West Athletic Conference play at volleyball conference newcomer Truckee Meadows Community College on Friday in Reno, Nev.
The Lizards are in their first year as a program.
