Police Calls: Burnouts in the parking garage

The police calls section does not reflect the nature or the volume of the calls received by local law enforcement. 

Aug. 27

A neighbor on West Second Street was staring at the caller and his partner consistently thus making them feel uncomfortable.

A male was threatening other men at the dog park. 

Two people were advised of the no camping in city limits ordinance after staying overnight at the skate park. 

The driver of a Chevy Tahoe backed up on Central Avenue and nearly hit the caller in a crosswalk and the female passenger in the call yelled at the caller. 

The driver of a Toyota Tundra with no headlights or taillights was on the phone and driving recklessly on Highway 93. 

A fuel station reported a male who keeps using the red dye diesel illegally. 

Aug. 28 

Someone saw a pistol sitting on an electrical transformer and brought it to the police department. 

A bear was seen dragging a bear resistant trash can across the yard on Highway 93. 

A white male with blonde hair was seen holding a beer on Central Avenue, urinating on a building, passing out and waking up. 

Aug. 29 

A Subaru and a Honda had an accident in a parking lot. The parties exchanged information. 

A Ford flatbed with the keys inside was reported stolen from the parking garage. 

The driver of a Chevy Silverado was seen on video doing multiple burnouts and driving in an intentional, reckless manner in the parking garage, and nearly striking multiple vehicles.
