CLARK FORK — The 1A Clark Fork Wampus Cats fell in their first home game of the season to the 2A Wallace Miners, 52-26, on Friday night.
The Wampus Cats fell to 1-2 in the season with the loss, while Wallace moved to 3-0. Clark Fork will get a rematch with Wallace later in the season on Oct. 9 at Wallace High. That matchup will be the team's second-to-last game of the year.
Clark Fork will travel to 2-0 Superior High in Montana next Friday for their next game, which is set to kickoff at 6 p.m. PDT.
