Tyler Wartick, 31

It is with great sadness and sorrow we have to let everyone know that our sweet Tyler Christopher Wartick of Ronan passed away on Aug. 6, 2026, from cardiac arrest. Our hearts are broken and our home is turned upside down.

Tyler was born June 28, 1995, in Reedsport, Ore., to parents Christopher and Dawn Wartick. Tyler attended school in Ronan from grade school through high school.

Tyler was such a kind and loving soul. He never judged anyone and was always willing to help anybody. His beautiful smile and warm wonderful laugh will be missed greatly.

Tyler’s last act of kindness and giving was being an organ donor and thanks to his selflessness he saved four people and gave them the chance to live.

Tyler was an extremely gifted artist. He also loved the outdoors. One of his favorite things to do was foraging for mushrooms. He had a great love for all animals and would help any animal in need. He had cats and dogs that he loved dearly.

He was such a bright light in this world and truly had a soul that was one of a kind. He left an impact on so many people. Time stopped when we lost you, and the memories will never fade and from now on I will cherish each day much more for you.

Tyler was such an amazing son, grandson, brother, and friend. Even though he was only here for a short time he left a big impression on a lot of people.

Tyler is survived by his parents, Christopher and Dawn Wartick; grandmothers Cathy Wartick and Dorothy Reznicsek; brothers Nicolas Wartick and Eric Wartick; sisters Stephany Wartick (Andrew) and Amber Wartick (Jeff); niece April Deppe and nephews Chandler Snyder, Gavin Thompson, Eli Thompson and Ryan Schave.

He is preceded in death by grandfathers Jerry Wartick and Walt Reznicsek, and grandmother Joyce Reznicsek.
