Bonners Ferry wrestling club registration set for Sept. 21

BONNERS FERRY — The Bonners Ferry wrestling club, a youth wrestling organization, will host registration on Sept. 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the Bonners Ferry High School Library. 

Those looking to sign their children up for the first time will need to bring a copy of their birth certificate to the registration event. The registration ranges from $20, with a USA card, to $85 for a three-style USA card and the club fee. Financial help is available if needed, organizers said. 

Once registered, the team will participate in the North Idaho Wrestling League. Practices will start Monday, Sept. 28, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the BFHS wrestling room, with 6U and 8U practices set for Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., 10U, 12U and  14U/Middle school practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. 

The NIWL season runs from October through November with events on Oct.17th, Oct. 24th, Nov. 7th and Nov. 14th.
