Dianne Marie (Daniel) Oxford, born February 21, 1954, in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, passed away on September 13, 2026, on a rainy, fall day. She always loved the first part of fall and the rains that came with it. She was 72 years old.
Dianne was known for her love of her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved sewing, quilting, embroidery, crocheting, gardening, baking, canning, reading and her kitties.
Dianne was born and raised on the Daniel Farm north of Bonners Ferry, Idaho. She had a big adventure as a young child when she and her family traveled to Australia by ship to visit her Mom’s side of the family. She graduated from Bonners Ferry High School, Class of 1972.
She met and married her husband, Steve, in 1971. They moved to Moyie Springs, where they began to raise a family. In 1991, Dianne graduated from North Idaho College as a registered nurse. She worked several nursing jobs and had a gift for caring for the elderly. For 20 years, Dianne bravely battled multiple myeloma and remained a fighter up until the end. Her positivity through years of treatment was remarkable.
Dianne is preceded in death by her parents, David and Thelma Daniel.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Oxford. She is also survived by her daughter, Amy Oxford; grandson, Jesse Williams; her daughter, Keri Abbey (Richard); grandchildren, RJ, Sydney and Olivia Abbey; great-granddaughter, Hunter Abbey; her son, Patrick (Jen); and grandchildren, Tyler, Cassidy and Takoda Oxford. She is also survived by her siblings, Wendy (Don) Kramer, Marilyn (Dale) Lofthus and Tom (Sandy) Daniel; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Boundary County Fairgrounds in the Valley Event Center at 11 a.m.
