On Friday night, teams across the valley faced tough opponents, but they're showing tenacity and bringing home more some wins as their season continues. 

In 8-Man football, the St. Ignatius Bulldogs fought for an impressive victory, winning 56-20 over the Arlee Warriors; and the Charlo Vikings had an overwhelming victory, winning 28-0 over the Plains Horsemen. 

In Class A, Ronan Chiefs took a hard hit, losing 0-54 against the Butte Central Wolf Pups; Polson Pirates also suffered a defeat, losing 0-28 against the Sidney Eagles. 

Lake County football standings: 

Arlee Warrior Football: 0-3 

St. Ignatius Bulldogs: 2-1 

Charlo Viking Football: 1-2

Ronan Chiefs Football: 1-2

Polson Pirate Football: 1-2
