Law roundup: Where's the money, man

Someone allegedly punched a man in the eye, broke out the rear window of his car and smashed the front windshield over a $30 loan. The lender reportedly became enraged when they thought the man had stolen from them, even though he did have the money to repay them. The man reportedly submitted the online report to the Whitefish Police Department to obtain the case report number for insurance but did not want to press charges.  

Homeowners on West Fourth Street reportedly told an officer they had 15 minutes left until a concrete slab was finished after being informed of noise complaints about heavy equipment and loud generators running at nearly 11 p.m.  

After reviewing security footage, a Baker Avenue employee told police that a woman's car was never messed with or damaged by boys on bikes who she claimed had been "playing" by it. 

Two electric bikes were reported stolen from a carport on West Second Street. One bike was a silver Gotrax Mustang and the other bike, a black and brown Qiolor Tiger Plus.  

Someone calling from Spokane Avenue and East Second Street had questions about electric bikes on the walking path.  

A property manager reportedly relayed tenant complaints about a small Honda pickup that had been parked on Baker Avenue for a couple of days, making it difficult for other vehicles to turn onto the street.  

A man was frustrated when police did not find his black Osprey pack containing his medications among the department's found property, saying he set his backpack down but couldn't remember where because he was intoxicated, other than noticing it was gone when he went into a grocery store. He was advised to get a copy of the incident report from the 911 dispatch center, as no report would be written because no crime occurred.
