Debbie Ingram, 71

Debbie Ingram, 71, of Bigfork, died peacefully on Sept. 6, 2026, at Hospice of Logan Health in Kalispell. She was born on Nov. 19, 1954, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Jerry and Lois Sullivan.

After attending Montana State University, Debbie moved to Bigfork to help her parents run their family business, Sullivan’s Department Store. She married Les Ingram in 1983, and together they raised two children, Bailee and Taylor.

Debbie was most known for her generosity, volunteerism and for being an aunt, mother and grandmother.

Over the years, Debbie was active and involved in supporting the Bigfork school system and community, including the early formation of Friends of Bigfork Schools, the annual Santa Shoppe and the annual variety show — Cowabunga, and helping to start the Bigfork High School soccer program. This is just a start, as she supported many other community programs too numerous to count, including many animal rescue and charitable endeavors.

Anyone who kept up with Debbie knows that for the past several years she dedicated every ounce of energy to supporting the children and families of the Bigfork Food Bank through the program HoHoHo, which provides stockings filled with necessities and gifts at Christmas. Her family and friends will be sure to carry on with this tradition.

Debbie is survived by her husband Les and their children Bailee (Jay) Dembek and Taylor Ingram; her granddaughters (the loves of her life) Adeline Jo, Maisy Anne and Juniper Ray Dembek; her sisters-in-law Elaine Holmquist and Cheryl Lane; niece Kylee (Kirk) Archibald and their children Peyton and Maddie; niece Lori Sullivan and her children Reiley, Cody, Amanda and Ashley; niece Tera Fevold and her children Hazen, Gage and Neveah; nephew Brian Sullivan (Trinel) their children Connor and Simone; nephew Jeremy Sullivan and his daughter Keremy; as well as numerous other extended family members all of whom she loved very much. Additionally, she is survived by her beloved cats and dogs.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Lois and Jerry Sullivan; brothers Jeff and Rick Sullivan; her sister Cristi Sullivan Hand; and her nephew Craig Sullivan.

Special thanks to the nurses, staff and doctors on the second and third floors at Logan Health, and the Comfort Care team for the excellent attention to her care.
