Law roundup: Truck driver leaves no stone unturned

A dump truck allegedly lost a 3-foot-wide boulder and told Kalispell Police they didn’t think anyone could move it. The street department was advised.

An evicted tenant reportedly returned to the property on a motorcycle to do burnouts in the parking lot and walk around the building, making tenants uncomfortable. He also allegedly made a thinly veiled threat that it wouldn’t be difficult to find out where the property manager lived.

A bus allegedly hit a parked car.  

A man called the police about an alleged hit-and-run and said he didn’t hit a woman’s car.

A woman was allegedly found sleeping in her car on a property she had been evicted from. She left after her vehicle was jumped and helped with getting medical attention. 

Officers received a call from a school about a suspicious man and a vehicle parked in a 15-minute-only spot. They advised a man about the complaint and the parking. He reportedly said the vehicle broke down there and would move it. He also said he was staying with his son, who lived in the apartment building and was playing guitar when kids ran over to him and started asking questions.
