Highway 200 construction starts

Recent construction is reported to affect areas around Kootenai Cutoff Road through Boise Street.

PONDERAY — Residents traveling near Kootenai Cutoff Road and Boise Street should expect delays as construction work takes place through Oct. 2.
According to Idaho 511, construction started Sept. 21 and is expected to last until Oct. 2 as workers update ADA-standard ramps in the area. Construction will occur Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and will pause on weekends.
Delay times are expected to be less than 15 minutes, according to Idaho 511, but may be longer during typical rush hours.
