This week's Athlete of the Week is Myelle Jensen of Sandpoint High Swimming.

At her second meet as a high schooler, Jensen topped 115 other competitors in the 100-yard backstroke event at the Mid-Columbia Invite last weekend. The freshman's 1:01.78 final time won one of 12 events at the massive meet, which featured 42 other schools. Jensen's strong performance helped Sandpoint finish eighth, another impressive result for the Bulldog swim team.
