Sign raises many questions about initiative
Bonner County Daily Bee | UPDATED 2 weeks, 4 days AGO
Yesterday, I saw a yard sign that said, “Say no to extreme abortion.” I’ve never heard of extreme abortion, and I need to know more. All the doctors I’ve ever seen are trying to do the safest and least invasive procedure possible. Which can be boring, I admit.
I’m guessing extreme abortion is something done in more dangerous environments, possibly self-administered or performed by other people without medical training? That’s some crazy stuff, for sure. Does the extreme option cost more? Is it more fun? Are there like, extreme abortion influencers on social media? I try hard to keep current, and this is something I’ve never heard of. Does extreme abortion kill people, like climbing without a rope?
Hopefully, someone will help me understand. I don’t encounter things I’ve never heard of very often. What are the differences between extreme and regular abortion. If someone’s doctor offers this kind of tiered service, it would be great if they’d share the menu. Is “extreme” a service-tier option? Do they do extreme knee replacements, too? Extreme plastic surgery? My doctor is retiring soon, so I need to explore my options.
Also, please tell me more about your implied support of regular abortion. It’s boringly safe: Following AMA standard of care guidelines is like skiing blue squares your whole life: Yawn. Why regular but not extreme, when it comes to abortion? Please do tell.
