Volley for a Cure to hit the court Sept. 29

Bonners Ferry High School volleyball will turn the court pink Tuesday, Sept. 29, for its annual Volley for a Cure event supporting breast cancer awareness and local women affected by cancer.

The event will feature volleyball games and a silent auction, with all proceeds benefiting the Boundary County Women’s Cancer Support Group.

The JV team will take the court at 5:30 p.m., followed by the varsity match at 7 p.m. at Bonners Ferry High School, 6485 Tamarack Lane.

Organizers are also seeking donations for the silent auction. Community members and businesses are encouraged to contribute items to help make the fundraiser a success.

Volley for a Cure brings athletes, families and community members together in support of breast cancer awareness while raising funds that will stay local through the Boundary County Women’s Cancer Support Group.
