Women's league bowling gets under way

Howdy Folks it is that time of year, women's league bowling has begun. Last week was our first league games.
Without further ado I shall introduce you to our teams.
Playing for the Labs is Alice VanGundy, Liz Cada, and DaVonna Cada.
Playing for the Dobermans is Zetta Graupner, Leslie Glenn, and DeeDee Oxford.
Playing for the Bulldogs is Donna Lunsford, Denise Beernink, and Hannah Olson.
Playing for the Collies is Kathy Konek, and two more to be announced.
Playing for the Shepherds is Donna Kent, Laura Horsting, and Jaene Graye.
Playing for the Shitzu is Francine Harwood, Marie Sumpter, and Shauna Anderson.
Playing for the Yorkies is Cita Vermilya, Evelyn Smith, and Kathy Scott.
Playing for the Heelers is Bonnie Grove, Regina Colby, and Michelle Sweet.
TEAMWORK
Shitzu (Francine Harwood, Marie Sumpter, and Shauna Anderson) Got high scratch game 469, second high scratch series 1216, high handicap game 698, and high handicap series 1903.
Shepherds (Donna Kent, Laura Horsting, and Jaene Graye) Got second high scratch game 421 and high scratch series 1226.
Collies (Kathy Konek) Got third high scratch game 397, third high scratch series 1151, second high handicap game 632, and second high handicap series 1856 you go girl.
Yorkies (Cita Vermilya, Evelyn Smith, and Kathy Scott) Got third high handicap game 622.
Bulldogs (Donna Lunsford, Denise Beernink, and Hannah Olson) Got third high handicap series 1827.
INDIVIDUAL
Laura Horsting (Shepherds) Got high scratch game 182 and high scratch series 497.
Shauna Anderson (Shitzu) Got second high scratch game 175.
Jaene Graye (Shepherds) Got third high scratch game 161 and second high scratch series 468.
Kathy Konek (Collies) Got third high scratch series 431.
PERFORMANCE
Lanes 1 - 2: Lab’s (Alice VanGundy, Liz Cada, and DaVonna Cada) played the Dobermans (Zetta Graupner, Leslie Glenn, and DeeDee Oxford) Deedee knocked out the 4-5-7 split.
Lanes 3 - 4: Bulldogs (Donna Lunsford, Denise Beernink, and Hannah Olson) played the Collie (Kathy Konek). Kathy and Denise each knocked out the 3-9-10 split.
Lanes 5-6: Shepherds (Donna Kent, Laura Horsting, and Jaene Graye) played the Shitzus (Francine Harwood, Marie Sumpter, and Shauna Anderson). Though no “performance” to report, there certainly was a lot of hooting and hollering going on over there!
Lanes 7 - 8: Yorkies (Cita Vermilya, Evelyn Smith, and Kathy Scott) played the Heelers (Bonnie Grove, Regina Colby, and Michelle Sweet) Cita knocked out the 5-7-9 split. Michelle executed a double; the first consecutive strikes reported in the season opener!?
