Coeurly Q’s Square Dance Club kicks off new season

Since the 1960s, the Coeurly Q's Square Dance Club has helped Coeur d’Alene make friends and stay fit with modern square dancing lessons for all ages and experience levels. The historic dance club kicked off its 2026 - 27 season Sept. 17. 

Classes take place every Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Harding Family Center Gym. Classes run from September to May and are taught by Gary Baker. Participants do not need to bring a partner, but are welcome to invite friends. Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothes and shoes, bring a water bottle and donate $5 per class.

For more experienced square dancers, there will be a special Halloween-themed dance Oct. 3 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The expected donation for participation is $10 per person.
