Law roundup: Welfare check not a good time for Mr. Fun

A man who purportedly went by “Mr. Fun” called the Kalispell Police Department about a welfare check called in on him for no reason and wanted to talk to an officer about people making  “false reports and such.” 

A DoorDash delivery driver was allegedly being “verbally abusive” to restaurant employees. He left before officers arrived.

A boat was reportedly abandoned on a property where it sat for two weeks. 

Police received an anonymous letter detailing concerns at a location and requesting a welfare check.

Officers received a complaint about a black pickup and a Chevy pickup parked at a location for weeks. The vehicles in question were running when officers arrived. A man allegedly told the officer that the vehicles were moved regularly and complained that his neighbors were trying to cause problems for him.

A woman allegedly sat on the trunk of a car so a man couldn't repossess it and called the police, saying he knocked her off and she hurt her toe. She also said he was refusing to leave her property. Officers spoke to an employee who reportedly said payments for the vehicle were 109 days past due and the repo man told the officer he got into an argument with her but stayed in his vehicle. Officers said the vehicle would be taken to a holding lot and released when the bank payment was fulfilled. 

An ambulance was called to the scene where a demo saw reportedly hit a 19-year-old in the face, leaving a wound that was bleeding uncontrollably.

Someone reportedly found three syringes lying on the side of the road and at the south end of a park but had no way to safely discard them.

Someone wanted police to pick up a wallet they found.
