SANDPOINT — The Festival at Sandpoint welcomed the community and local business leaders to a special Business After Hours event earlier this month.

Held Sept. 23, the event offered Greater Sandpoint Chamber members, business officials and community residents a chance to learn more about the nonprofit’s year-round music education programs throughout North Idaho.

Business After Hours is one of the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce's signature events, providing a platform for local professionals and business owners to build meaningful relationships, spotlight regional economic initiatives, and strengthen the North Idaho business community.

The event gave community members a chance to connect with the Festival at Sandpoint team and learn about the organization’s work beyond the annual summer concert series. Guests were invited to share their input on the Festival’s future by voting on which areas they would like to see the organization expand, including education, music and entertainment, and production services. Attendees also had the opportunity to submit new ideas and suggestions for the Festival to consider as it continues to grow and serve the community.

The Festival at Sandpoint is a nonprofit organization that brings world-class music to North Idaho through its annual summer concert series and provides free year-round music education and community programming. The 2027 Summer Series will take place from July 29 through Aug. 8 at War Memorial Field, an intimate, premier outdoor venue on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille, surrounded by the Selkirk Mountains.
