FVCC holds Night of the Trades event

Flathead Valley Community College invites the community to Night of the Trades to learn about FVCC Trades Institute programs and explore related career opportunities. 

This event takes place Thursday, Oct. 8 from 5:30-8 p.m. in the FVCC Trades Institute building on campus in Kalispell.

Prospective students explore potential trades pathways in hands-on career sessions led by FVCC instructors. Parents attend sessions led by FVCC advisors where they discover pathways for success in the trades and how to secure scholarships and financial aid.

Reserve spots for one-hour sessions (5:45-6:45 p.m. and 7-8 p.m.) to get a taste of what the future could hold. Reservations are required and open to anyone 16 years and older.

Session topics include building trades, commercial driver's license, culinary arts and catering, electrical apprentice, electrical technology, electronics technician, firearms technologies, heavy equipment operator, HVAC, industrial machine technology, plumbing, surveying, and welding and fabrication.
