Law roundup: Snob wants unrefined man gone

A woman called the Whitefish Police Department to voice her displeasure with a man’s presence allegedly ruining the aesthetics of her business. While he was not being disruptive, she wanted him moved along.  

Males in a black Ford F-150 allegedly stopped to harass a man on a bicycle during a road rage incident on Baker Avenue and Railway Street. The man reportedly told police he had a history of strokes, could barely see and could not move his bike.  

Five to six teenage boys reportedly yelled obscenities and slurs, trying to intimidate someone on the Veterans Memorial Bridge.  

Someone stopped to help a woman pulled over in a van on U.S. 93 West and Whitefish Hills Drive and allegedly saw open containers inside.  

An East Second Street caller reportedly saw a man setting things on fire and was worried the fire would get out of hand.  

Officers ticketed someone for urinating in public on Baker Avenue and Railway Street.  

Someone calling from Dakota Avenue reported two handguns missing from their unlocked vehicle.  

Officers received a later report that a black pistol and leather holster were allegedly stolen from an unlocked truck on Karrow Avenue.  

An officer was flagged down by someone on Spokane Avenue who complained about a man sleeping in front of the library.  

A woman calling from U.S. 93 South allegedly misplaced a binder containing a shopping list and $400 of someone’s money in the parking lot of a grocery store. She had checked with employees who said it hadn’t been turned in.  

An employee on Baker Avenue asked officers to remove a man with blond dreadlocks from the property who was reportedly cursing and yanking a dog around.  

A woman reportedly wanted to advise officers that her son drives drunk every night and the name of the bar he usually patronizes after work.    

Someone calling from Karrow Avenue and West Second Street allegedly heard women yelling and asked officers to check on their welfare.
