Robert 'Bob' Seliger Sr., 86

Robert "Bob" Seliger Sr., 86, passed away peacefully at the Montana Veterans Home in Columbia Falls on Sept. 15, 2026. He was born to Lawrence and Vera Seliger on Aug. 11, 1940, in Sidney, Montana.
He served in the United States Army from April 1960 to May 1962. After serving his country, he returned to Sidney. He then relocated to the Flathead Valley.
He had a great love for the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He spent many hunting seasons in the South Fork, Middle Fork and east of the mountains with his sons, grandsons and special friends. If it wasn’t hunting season, then there were always fishing and huckleberry picking adventures around the Hungry Horse Reservoir that also included his daughter and grandchildren. There was always an outdoor adventure for every season. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his children; Daniel Seliger, Robert Seliger Jr, Ron Seliger, Tami Anderson; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Gertrude Seliger.
