Acorn not the source of suspicious damage
A man driving on Tenth Street West thought an acorn fell on top of his truck, but when he got out, he reportedly noticed a puncture hole in the driver’s side door that looked like it was caused by a bullet or arrow.
A great Fourth
We could not have improved much on the Fourth of July weekend on the North Fork. OK, it was a bit too warm but that did not dampen enthusiasm for the parade. I really have no idea how many people attended, but parking was crowded. Vehicles filled every space around the Merc and the saloon, spectators and vehicles lined the road on both sides of the road from the store out to the main road and on the main road vehicles were parked on both sides of the main road for several hundred yards north and south of the Polebridge Junction.

Two Medicine Campground opening delayed
Glacier National Park officials say snow conditions will delay the opening of the Two Medicine Campground. Several feet of snow still cover most of the camp sites, and access to facilities is limited. The campground may open by June 6, or as conditions allow.
