Reader upset at loss of trees

As I drive over the Long Bridge toward Sandpoint and look down at Dog Beach seeing all of those steel pipes and steel I-beams just rusting away left over from the bypass or dumped there by the railroad, I just wonder what would happen if someone or some little kid got seriously injured while playing on all of that discarded steel. Who would be liable? The city of Sandpoint? Bonner County? The railroad? Or whoever just left all of those steel pipes and steel I-beams there in the first place? There is a lot of money just laying there rusting away plus being a terrible eyesore to everyone coming into Sandpoint.

I urge voters in District 1 to vote for Mike Boeck in the May 15 Republican primary elections. Mike is a fourth-generation resident of Bonner County, and is very qualified to do the job in Boise. I have personally met with him about the issues I feel are important to the people of our region: education, economic development (jobs), infrastructure, natural resources, protection of the environment, affordable healthcare, and serving the needs of the people in Northern Idaho.
