The Feb. 10 Community Pot Luck will feature Josh Stroot of the Forest Service, who will speak about the local fires of last summer and precautions for the spring runoff. Intruder arrested after entering woman's bedroom

According to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office, a woman had a panic attack over the phone with dispatch after an intruder came into her bedroom near Bigfork. She said she screamed when she saw the man and he left. Law enforcement later made an arrest.

Trump should close down the southern border until that crisis is completely under control. Otherwise, we may go into an economic recession or even a civil war with those illegal immigrants or possibly even Mexico. Things cannot continue as it has been at the southern border. An intoxicated woman with a cast on her arm appeared on the front porch of a Ridgewood Drive residence and knocked to be let in. The homeowner, however, told Flathead County Sheriff's deputies he had never seen the woman before. Deputies gave her a ride home.

An identity-theft case reported Tuesday to the Flathead County Sheriff's Office was from a man who discovered his own mother had used his name and information to obtain phone service out of town. He's been getting past-due bills on the account he didn't know about.
