UC Davis and Weber State rounded out the Big Sky teams in the Top 25 at 18th and 22nd, while Eastern Washington was just outside being ranked but was listed on two or more ballots.

A number of area students have been named to the University of Idaho's 2024 spring dean’s list.
40 Under 40: Kevin Moran
Kevin Moran is a Community Development Officer at STCU in the Tri-Cities area, where he’s worked for nearly six years now. He also serves on the board of directors for the Tri-Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, based in Pasco. Moran said he is a first-generation student. His parents didn’t go to college and he really wanted to make sure others had the same opportunities his parents worked hard to provide for him, despite not having a college background themselves.. “I kind of had to learn how to do the four-year college on my own,” he said. “My family, we didn’t come from much. We came from very humble beginnings and it taught me a lot of my work ethic, my virtues and models, and I just know that there’s plenty of kiddos and students here in our community that can benefit from a scholarship.”
