NOTICE TO MATERIAL SUPPLIERS Sealed bids plainly marked "Bid for Asphalt Materials - 2017" will be received by Grant County at the Office of the Board of County Commissioners, P.O. Box 37, 35 C Street NW - Room 206, Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington 98823, until 1:30 P.M., Tuesday, February 21, 2017 and will then and there, in the Commissioners Hearing Room be opened and publicly read for supplying the specified materials. This contract provide for furnishing and delivering asphalt materials in accordance with the plans and specifications. Plans, specifications and bid documents may be obtained from the Public Works Department at no charge. Informational copies of the maps, plans, and specifications are on file for inspection at the Public Works Department of Grant County, 124 Enterprise St. SE, Ephrata, WA 98823. The Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington, reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The award of this proposal, if made, may be made in whole or in part as determined to be in the best interest of Grant County. The improvement for which bids will be received follows: Asphalt Materials - 2017 This proposal provides for furnishing 5,000 - 5,600 tons of HFE-150 liquid asphalt, 400-575 tons of HFE-90 liquid asphalt and 6,000 - 8,000 tons of Hot Mix Asphalt for the 2017 season to Grant County and other work in accordance with the specifications. #02037/44773 Pub: February 3, 9 & 16, 2017

The Potholes Recreation Area was voted by customers of the Cabella's store in ,Union Gap, as the most popular destinatin for outdoor recreation in the Pacific Northwest. With fishing, waterfowl, and coyote hunting most available there is something for every outdoors men and women. As of December 20, 2012 Potholes Reservoir is Ice free! The last several years we have lost the lake to ice so we feel very fortunate to have an open lake for recreating this season. The duck hunting on the Reservoir has been good, not always limit hunting but lots of birds in the area still to work with. Waterfowl season ends January 27, 2013 so be sure to get out and enjoy our area before its closing date. County amends permit to allow longer bridge
