Turkey seeks arrest of businessman linked to US fraud scheme

ANKARA, Turkey (AP) — Turkish prosecutors on Tuesday issued a detention warrant against Sezgin Baran Korkmaz, a Turkish businessman with links to Utah-based business executives who have pleaded guilty to a $511 million tax credit scheme in the United States, Turkey’s state-run news agency reported.

Ms Ronayne’s articles do not appear to have any particular political lean and much as the most recent Bee article are particularly matter-of-fact. The Daily Bee staff should have fully attributed Ms Ronayne’s authorship and the source from which her article was extracted. The reporter is trying to start her career in journalism and news organizations should “give credit where credit is due.”

Blister rust is a non-native disease that devastated western white pine trees in the Inland Northwest. Pruning the lower branches of young white pine can increase their survival by half. A workshop titled “Pruning to Restore White Pine”, to be held Friday, June 21, at the Inn at Priest Lake, 5310 Dickensheet Road, Coolin, will help foresters, family forest owners, and forestry contractors learn how to combat white pine blister rust through pruning.
