CALL FOR BIDS CITY OF ROYAL CITY WRF UV DISINFECTION SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the City of Royal City, 445 Camelia Street NE, Royal City, Washington 99357, up to 11:00 a.m.; local time on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof for the WRF UV Disinfection System Improvements. The Project includes installing new UV equipment to be furnished by the Owner within the existing UV building at the City of Royal City Water Reclamation Facility (WRF). The work includes, but is not limited to, installation of new equipment, modifications to existing effluent piping, and electrical modifications. The project also includes provisions for disinfection during construction in order to meet the existing water reclamation permit requirements and maintain full function of the facility. The Work shall be substantially complete within 80 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the Finance Director, City Hall, Royal City, Washington. The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the "City of Royal City" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Bid Documents for this project are available free-of-charge at the following website: "http://gobids.grayandosborne.com". Bidders are encouraged to "Register" as a planholder in order to receive automatic email notification of applicable addenda and to be placed on the "Planholder List". REQUEST FOR LETTERS OF INTEREST Letters of Interest will be received by Aging & Adult Care of Central Washington (AACCW) for provision of the Stanford model of Chronic Disease Self-Management Education workshops. Must be licensed by Self-Management Resource Center (SMR) to provide one or more of the CDSME workshops specialties including workshops in Spanish. Must have experience managing, promoting and assuring fidelity standards required of the evidence-based program are met. Target population is persons age 60 and older. The service area includes Adams, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Lincoln and Okanogan Counties. The initial contract period is 7/1/18-12/31/18. AACCW option to renew yearly for additional 3 years. Contract amount is $12,000 for the first six months period and $24,000 for each12-month period. Payments issued monthly for workshops completed. Monthly reports and support documentation required.
