AARP tax assistance begins Thursday
Beginning Feb. 1 and continuing through April 17, AARP Foundation is providing free tax assistance and preparation through its Tax-Aide program. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide, celebrating its 50th year, is the nation’s largest free tax assistance and preparation service. Since its inception, the program has served more than 50 million taxpayers.

UI Extension forest health program set for Friday

Credit card abuse not about spending
Kalispell Police Department responded to a report from a woman who yelled at a man who allegedly entered her home using a credit card to open the lock. She told officers that she had filed a temporary restraining order against the man. Officers had a lengthy discussion with the man who “now knows not to go to the residence.”
