On Tuesday May 16, city residents have the opportunity to vote on a proposed local option tax of 1% on taxable goods up to $1,000 to fund the police, fire and street departments. Those living in Boundary County Library Trustee Zones 5 and 3 have the opportunity to vote for candidates also at the May 16 election.

Thanks for supporting fundraiser

On Thursday, Sept. 19, a dedicated group of friends held a fundraiser for Mark Dundas at Glacier Guides/Montana Raft in West Glacier. We had learned that Mark was facing a battle with leukemia. We were as shocked as he was, since he’s one of the strongest, healthiest people we know. The event was amazingly successful which was directly attributable to the generous nature of the Flathead Valley community.
