Anne Irene Jacobsen, 93
Anne Irene Jacobsen, 93, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on Feb. 4, 2016. Anne was born May 12, 1922, in Oak Park, Ill., to Joseph and Helen Golkants. She was raised in Chicago, Ill., and graduated from Steinmetz High School in 1940, and did secretarial office work.

Virginia Gifford Olson, 90
On Monday, Feb. 19, 2007, "Jesus wrapped his loving arms around Virginia Gifford Olson and carried her to heaven", surrounded by her beloved family. Virginia was born in Lewiston, Idaho to Lester and Anna (Sulier) Gifford on Nov. 8, 1916. When she was 6 weeks old, her father was killed. Left a young widow, her mother, Anna, made a trip with her baby daughter to Montana to visit her sisters who lived in Valley Creek, near Arlee.
