Quist represents most of Montana
I have read with sadness the letters in support of Greg Gianforte for Congress. Give him credit for his achievements; yet the fear of what Rob Quist would bring fed by mean spirited outside interests is wicked. What does higher taxes to pay for entitlements really mean? It fundamentally means that we take care of those who cannot take care of themselves. Can we really believe Gianforte will fight on the side of Montana where nearly 20,000 live below the poverty line? When he tells Sally Mauk of Montana Public Radio that Trump has achieved much of what he promised? Outside of the Supreme Court Justice, would he please point to action that would survive scrutiny?
Laura "Laurie" Corcoran
Laura “Laurie” Corcoran passed away in Missoula on March 20, 2014 after a very long and courageous battle with renal failure and cancer. Laurie married Jim Corcoran on Feb. 14, 1980. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a very special daughter and sister. Laurie was always a hard worker and had several careers in her lifetime including owning and operating her own beauty shop, café owner and manager, tax clerk for Lake County, and she had a daycare for several years. She obtained a degree from Salish Kootenai College in Early Childhood Development and lacked one credit in a Social Work degree, which she was forced to give up due to her illness.
