Besides parks, next week you'll see a city truck and chipper going around grinding up tree limb prunings that city residents have put out to be ground up. Dick promotes projects that make our town a better place to live. On a personal level, after the Mt. St. Helens ash-fall, we were out of town and Dick came by and shoveled ash off our roof so it wouldn't cave in. What a great neighbor! In the spring, when we go walking down Northshore Drive, we'll see him going up and down the sidewalk, spot-spraying neighbor sidewalk weeds (free). Anything to help the neighborhood look sharp.
