A 43-year-old Evergreen man was arrested on suspicion of family member assault at a motel on Montana 35 after allegedly slapping around his 10-year-old daughter. The man reportedly lied to Flathead County sheriff's deputies about who he was to avoid being identified as a fugitive, so he also was ticketed on suspicion of obstructing justice.
