WASHINGTON (AP) — The federal Bureau of Prisons will begin allowing inmates to have visitors again in October, almost seven months after visits were suspended at the 122 federal prisons across the U.S., according to a memo obtained by The Associated Press.

Cougars earn home victory over Lake Roosevelt

WARDEN — The Warden Cougars (3-10) earned a convincing 9-2 home victory over Lake Roosevelt Thursday evening. The Cougars remained dominant throughout the game and will have some time between games to prepare for the remainder of the season. Warden came out strong in the first inning, holding Lake Roosevelt scoreless in the top of the inning and earning three runs when scoring off an error and Kameron Jensen grounding out to score two runs, according to stats from GameChanger. The Cougars added to their lead in the bottom of the second inning with Jensen singling to score two runs, Carson Whitaker grounding out to score a run and another error scoring a run.
