PETS: Punish rude owners

I too am disgusted at the amount of people who seem to think it’s OK for them to take their non-service dogs (and other animals) in businesses that sell food. A few months ago when I was in a Post Falls business. I was rather aggravated at the presence of two separate parties with small dogs in the store at the same time. I noticed that both were carrying the dogs under their arms, looking forward so they could evidently enjoy the shopping experience. Imagine my surprise when I realized I had been (thankfully) successfully avoiding a trail of potty that was being deposited by the backside of the pooch I was following down the aisle.

Every year after Thanksgiving, Americans kick off the holiday shopping season with big stores advertising deal after deal. Not long ago, Americans during the holiday season typically would visit locally-owned small retailers in a downtown area to purchase all of their gifts. Business owners would decorate their shops with lights and ornaments or create elaborate window displays to grab the imagination of a passerby and encourage them inside. It was a magical time of year, and many of us still hold on to those memories today.
