NIC's Administrative Assistant program prepares students for the business world
For many students, going immediately from high school to college is the natural order of things. That wasn’t the case for LaCheale Linscott — at least, not right away. Maybe she’d go into real estate and work for her family’s business, she thought, but she wouldn’t jump straight into college.

As the 2014 filing season nears an end, the Internal Revenue Service today issued another strong warning for consumers to guard against sophisticated and aggressive phone scams targeting taxpayers, including recent immigrants, as reported incidents of this crime continue to increase nationwide. Apple shows off new gadgets
CUPERTINO, Calif. - Apple showed off thinner iPads and a new iMac with a high-resolution display on Thursday. Sleek and stunning, yes, but not likely to spark the next iRevolution. The NIC Children's Center is a nationally accredited, dual-function early childhood program that serves as NIC's Child Development Lab School while providing high-quality child care services to NIC's students, faculty and staff. Our mission is to provide a high-quality lab setting for NIC's students to obtain the skills necessary for working with young children in a developmentally appropriate manner, while also providing an accessible and affordable student service that enables NIC's students to attend classes and meet their educational goals. In addition, our program partners with North Idaho College Head Start and serves a limited number of Head Start families whose parents are NIC students. These families receive all Head Start services while at the Children's Center.
When is it time to buy?
Most would anticipate a Realtor to say, "Right now." We all know that cannot possibly be a true answer. The truth is, there are many indicators that real estate in Coeur d'Alene and surrounding areas - as well as around the country - is anticipated to increase in price for the near future. That does not mean the time is right for you to buy.
