Yet if we hold true to its origins this is neither gore fest nor mere harvest party. Hallowe'en was intended to be about life's transitions both earthly and divine, the mysterious cycles of its disappearance and reemergence.

Polson Bridge slated for biennial inspection
The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) plans to inspect the Polson Bridge on U.S. Highway 93 during the week of April 1, weather permitting. The bridge crosses the Flathead River in the heart of Polson.
