The national discourse is so dominated by illegal entries that we end up defining migration by an illicit act that is, statistically speaking, a gross aberration. The overwhelming number of people who enter from Mexico do so legally in a routine that stands out for its astonishing numbers.

Reader wants voters to be informed

Stupid people vote! John Kennedy put it like this, "The ignorance of one voter in a democracy impairs the security of all." We have millions of voters who vote without any real knowledge of the point of view and position of the cadidate they vote for. We keep re-electing the same bufoons who have become wealthy while holding their elected offices. They are the people who have implemented the polices that have put this republic in grave peril. Sadly for us the buffoonery is bi-partisan.
