Law enforcement requesting public's help identifying arsonist

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office initiated the Code Red broadcast system Friday, requesting the public's help in identifying the person or persons responsible for a series of fires in the area. Code Red is an emergency broadcast "reverse 911" system implemented by the county's Emergency Management Agency to help speed communications with the public in times of emergency.

Area students feel the spirit of giving

Recently, the Christian Logger Athletes at Libby High School participated in a “Be E-Free” campaign. Through the campaign, they gave up all of their electronic devices, even cell phones and took pledges for a sacrifice. Through the campaign, they were able to raise just over $2200 to shop for their fellow students who may have not gotten Christmas presents without their help. So far, they’ve been able to purchase and wrap 17 gifts through their campaign.
