Husky trio named to players to watch list by Big Ten
SEATTLE – On Monday, the Big Ten Conference announced its women's soccer Players to Watch list. Three Husky upperclassmen featured on the preseason list in Kolo Suliafu, Samiah Shell and Laura Cetina, according to a statement by University of Washington athletics. Suliafu enters her senior season well established as not only the anchor of the stingy Husky back line but one of the most feared defensive talents in both the Big Ten and nationally.

Suspect in 2023 chase given suspended sentence
Micah M. Winslow, 40, initially pleaded not guilty to one felony count of criminal endangerment in Flathead County District Court following his Nov. 12, 2023 arrest. But he pleaded out in late 2024 after taking a deal from prosecutors.
Ballot initiative proposed to eliminate Idaho’s 6% sales tax on food
If passed, the “Repeal Idaho’s Grocery Tax” initiative would in fiscal year 2028 eliminate Idaho’s 6% sales tax on food items, as defined by the federal Supplemental Nutrition and Assistant Program, or SNAP. The sales tax would remain for alcohol, tobacco, and restaurant sales of food or “hot food products ready for immediate consumption.”
Numerica Credit Union invests $380K into 22 area nonprofits
