A caller reported a rogue rooster to the Kalispell Police Department. An officer observed a rooster and a hen, but the rooster wouldn’t let him get closer than 10 or 15 feet. A live trap was set in the hope of catching the bird.

Man wraps abandoned vehicle in caution tape

According to the Whitefish Police Department, a resident reportedly wrapped an abandoned vehicle in caution tape after a tow-truck driver wanted to charge him to tow it. The man said he had gone into the abandoned and unlocked vehicle and found the owners registration and they straightened it out. The caller admitted he was told by law enforcement not to enter the vehicle.
