It never ceases to amaze how those on the political right can so arrogantly and self-righteously proclaim that our president and the Democratic members of Congress are “liars” when there is absolutely no proof supporting those assertions.
In the Nov. 25 edition of the Inter Lake, Mr. Wes James asserts, “Private property rights apply to the land which is at an elevation above the mean high water line while the state owns the land which is below the mean high water line.”
Being a retired military officer myself, I was interested in reading the reasoning behind Maj. Banzet’s “quitting” the military, as chronicled in the Sunday, Nov. 7, Inter Lake. However, some of his vague references made it difficult to understand who he was maligning.
