The Valkyries battled their way to a third-place finish at the Western A Divisional Tournament in Corvallis this weekend, their ticket to the state tournament in Bozeman.
Bigfork Community United Methodist Church is cooking up their third annual Christmas cantata, this year in partnership with Bigfork schools’ choir director Erik Heuchert.

The Bigfork Fire District on Monday held a due process meeting for Lt. Sean Reffner on the allegations at Bigfork High School. Reffner, a member of the Bigfork Fire Department since April 2021, was placed on administrative suspension on Sept. 18 after officials received 20 allegations of misconduct.

Bigfork Art and Cultural Center has received the lease from Community Foundation for a Better Bigfork for the space next door that used to house Bigfork’s library, an endeavor that will change the landscape of the building.

The goal of Turf Club, a subset of the Booster Club, will be to install an artificial turf field, renovate walkways and paving around the stadium, expand storage space, upgrade entry points and put in an improved scoreboard and lighting. A donor recognition wall would also be put up.
