Gov. Steve Bullock and his surrogates, most recently Lt. Gov. Mike Cooney, have been pushing the narrative that Republicans are the ones to blame for Montana’s short-term budget problems.
Recently, Gov. Bullock made a campaign stop in Billings to announce his proposal to spend $200 million to address what he called the “immediate needs of Montana’s communities.”
