Gonzaga to face Georgia

SPOKANE – The eighth-seeded Gonzaga Bulldogs will meet ninth-seed Georgia in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Men’s Division I Tournament today in Wichita, Kansas. Tipoff is at 1:30 p.m. according to the Gonzaga athletics schedule.

ELLENSBURG – The number 10 ranked Central Washington University Wildcats rugby team, currently sitting at 2-2, will be headed to Westood, California this weekend for a pairing against UCLA in the team’s third away game for the season. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. Saturday at Wallis Annenberg Stadium.

Big Bend women defeat Yakima Valley

MOSES LAKE — Coming off a close win over Columbia Basin College on Saturday, Big Bend women’s basketball overcame a first-quarter deficit to defeat the visiting Yakima Valley Yaks 66-59 on Wednesday, improving to 4-1 in region games and 15-5 overall.
