I travel a lot. Maybe not as much as some, but certainly more than others. Where I differ is that I do most of my traveling during winter …the DEAD of winter.
It is that time of year again where many things are in transition: We have waterfowl seasons open, general rifle season this weekend, fall fishing going on everywhere and before you know it … ICE fishing!
By now, most of us who fish here in the Flathead have probably been on the water at least a couple of times. Maybe in a boat, possibly at a family fishing pond in the area or from a river or stream bank.
