Light pole crashes down near grocery store
A lamp pole fell next to Valley Grocery in Alberton at approximately 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9., prompting the Frenchtown Fire Department to close down Railroad Avenue until Northwestern Energy crews could cut the power to the pole.

Football Clark Fork Mountain Cats' Sterling Reese named to play in all-state game
Sterling Reese, a senior for the Clark Fork Mountain Cats, was named to play in the Class C 8-man football league’s all-state game.
